East Meadow Girls Softball Summer Sizzle Tournament

The East Meadow Summer Sizzle Tournament has become Long Island’s premier fast-pitch softball tournament. With over 50 teams in five divisions ranging from 8U to 16U and the best groomed fields on Long Island. Our complex consists of 8 fields and is the best maintained and groomed fields on Long Island. We have also updated our snack bar, bathrooms and also have a pavilion.

The Summer Sizzle tournament usually starts mid-July and runs to mid-August. It consists of 7 games and 1 playoff game for a guarantee of 8 games. Trophies are presented to the top 2 teams in each division.  A most outstanding player award is given, each and every game to the top player of each team.

In 2007 East Meadow pioneered an 8u division that is machine pitched. This division has really taken off with a 2 base max rule and the 5 pitch rule which really gives the game a fast pace. These young ladies are playing at a very high and competitive level.
